Give me some ideas
Well heres my situation:
My parents bought me a silver E90 for christmas and i've been wanting to do something to it ever since. The thing is a lot of people tell me just to save the money and try and get a 335 which isn't going to happen cause even though i have a job its not like i'm making enough bank to do that...........I want to make my 325 different from all the other ones on the roads so what could i do that isn't going to take a big chunk out of the bank account? Blakclines? tint? any advice would be great. thanks |

You live in CA just leave it stock and it will be different and stand out.. Dont waste your money on a car mods.. Save up for a house or apartment for when you go to college.

fresno's pretty cool man, theres alot of modded cars always crusing around, if i were you definatley get some tints first man and maybe get your tailights smoked especially if you have a sliver e90, i remember a place in fresno that smokes tail lights for you, they dont do it with film they spray them as dark as you want and then apply a nice clear for a shiny finish i dont rememeber how much but your ride would look pretty sick once you get the tints on and smoke tailights

Depends on your budget...blacklines look pretty nice!
Or get a trunk spoiler. If even cheaper....buy a Euro Rear Fog Light Switch and you can install urself. Search around Market Place and DIY section will give you some ideas what to do and how much will they cost. But hey...you got a bimmer for Christmas! You must be a very good boy throughout the year!!! hahahaha.... Also check the California Regional section and see if there's any meets up in SF area. There's plenty of modded E90s attend and most members are very helpful and giving you ideas and feedbacks of how good or bad every mods they've done!

There is a ton of stuff that you can do cosmetically without breaking the bank, but still have your car look different from the rest. You can start off with coilovers/wheels, and for a few thousand you can have your car look different from most other 3'er on the road. For a 325 performance mods are pretty much a waste IMO, but from a cosmetic perspective the sky is the limit.
