San Marino Blue on F8x M3/M4?

Yeah, the F8x needs a darker blue. I'm not a fan of Yas Marina.

We had both LMB and Interlagos.

We need a dark blue.

I am not at all digging those front slats on the M3/4 and reckon it is going to take darker colours to blend it in sufficiently.

I think the Yas Marina looks insipid and feminine.

I had my hopes pinned on Yas marina blue being a sort of half way between Estoril and LeMans blue, seriously disappointed in the finished colour, as the list of colours stands I'll be going for Sakhir Orange maybe consider grey but it might be a bit bland.

I doubt we'll see San Marino as a standard color. If I'm not mistaken it's an M6 unique color that not even the M5 has. It's a very nice blue.

As someone mentioned Yas Marina is a cool color to show case the car but probably not something I would like to own.

Of the launch car colors:

300 – Alpine White
B39 – Mineral Grey Metallic
475 – Black Sapphire Metallic
B50 – Sakhir Orange Metallic
A29 – Silverstone Metallic
B67 – Austin Yellow Metallic (preview pic)
A96 – Mineral White Metallic
B68 – Yas Marina Blue Metallic (see photos/video)

I would go with either Sakhir Orange, Silverstone or Mineral White. IMO the F30 body is quite boring and disappears at a delaer lot unless it has a bold color or trim. If I'm not going with Sakhir I think I'll need to spend on all CF parts offered...

So instead of offering more "colors". They just offered different ones.
E9X had 5 white/grey/blacks and 3 "colors" (red and 2 blues)
F8X has 5 white/grey/blacks and 3 "colors" (yellow orange blue)

Unfortunately, 2 of the "colors" (yellow and blue) are not attractive to any sort of large gathering.
That leaves Sakhir Orange for me, since I don't want to buy a white, grey or black car. My favorite color is blue, and my dreams of an estoril blue M4 have vanished.

If not San Marino blue, perhaps Santorini blue. If Yas is the only choice, going Individual may be the only option. Golferr was able to get an order placed for an E93 San Marino blue, so its feasible.

I agree that we need another blue - and San Marino would be great. The colors being offered are either too subtle or too "in your face". They need to bring something in between. I favor blue cars, but I can't bring myself to pull the trigger on Yas Marina. When I showed it to my wife, she gave me one of those "are you effing kidding me?" looks.
