more quiet?

Hi,
one question to those of you who had the opportunity to drive the F15. Is the F15 more quiet than the E70?
I ordered the 4.0d (Europe) M Sport, 20".
Thanx for response.
Kind regards
Marko

Hahah, my thoughts exactly. Well Marko, I am about to order 40d next week as well (also live in Austria).

Hello Deda!

Moving to an X5 now.

By the way, I have read some reviews that stated it was more quiet than the previous version.

All I can say is that the X5 is VERY quiet.

Yes. But has anyone else heard a bit of turbo whine on the 3.5?

My E70 4.8 with sport pack and 20s on Bridgestone rfts is both noisy and rides like a go kart. I am about to order the F15 with m-sport on 19s and I really hope its both quieter and much much better riding.

Forgot to add that by going to my winter setup with 19s on non-run flats the car becomes much faster. My butt dyno registers about 30hp gain. The 20s with rfts are super heavy and apart from ride they just murder performance.

Yes, I would say so. The 35i I drove was very quiet. I'm sure more insulation or the materials used for insulation have improved since the design of the e70.
