DIY: 330i side veiw mirrors?
are the 330i side veiw mirrors the one that folds when the car is off and also automatically pointed down when gear is put in reversed?
if so is it possible to fit it on to the 325i. what will i need? (will i need to rewire things?) |

I think that could be a premium package thing (but then again I thought that was on all stateside e90's, but i guess not), NOT a 330 thing, my 325 has folding mirrors, and the passenger side tilt in reverse..It only works when the mirror adjust switch is in the passenger (i think) mirror position. Check which position your mirror adjust switch is in and test it again..

Ok...do your controls look like this?
So you have your window controls, and above that is how your adjust your mirrors (the toggle switch that you choose left or right side) do you have that small circle button to the left? Does it just not do anything? Anyway when the toggle switch (to the right of the small round button) is set to the driver side position the reverse mirror tilts down. I REALLY thought that was on ALL stateside e90s?? Because we ALL have power (adjust) mirrors, why would they take this feature out? |

WOW, just what I was looking for. I have the same thing, 325i no premium or sport package. Please let me know if it works BMW_E90. The auto folding mirrors would help a lot.
