Msport steering wheel / airbag

Are any other F30 Msport owners not crazy about your steering wheel and airbag?

I was never a big fan. They look a bit ricey to me. Strangely, I prefer the the regular airbag shape and bottom steering wheel trim over the Msport versions.

I'm also a little bummed that my Msport airbag won't fit the current Alcantara steering wheel. I think the 4 series version will work with Msport airbag, but I have to wait until mid-2014.

I'm considering posting a trade for my steering wheel and airbag for the regular sport versions plus cash, but a little hesitant since my car is leased.

Interesting view of the MSport steering wheel. I absolutely love it. When I am provided a non-MSport loaner, the first thing that I notice is the horrible steering wheel. To each their own. I am sure you will have no problem selling yours.

i think the MSport steering wheel is the best part of an otherwise pretty boring interior

I would assume most people love it. Perhaps it will grow on me.

I just feel the standard one, which is similar to the 5 series version, looks classier.

I'm actually starting to prefer the Black Anthracite Wood trim over my OEM performance carbon trim as well.

Maybe I'm getting old....lol

I like the thickness of the M-Sport wheel but agree the standard one looks "classier". I'm probably getting old too.

Well, I'm "old" and I really like the M-Sport wheel. I think it looks "sportier" and it definitely feels a lot better than the skinnier stock steering wheel.

I guess I should clarify. I love the thickness of it. Coming from a ZHP with the fat Alcantara steering wheel, I love the feel.

I'm just not crazy that the airbag appears to be floating in there with not trim around it, and I especially don't like the skinny bottom spoke at the 6 oclock position.
