Just wondering how long they last in real world use.

how did you pop them, and by didn't work,

do you mean you weren't able to drive on them once flat?

I got about 9k on mine and they are about go to go in the back for sure....I drive spirited but no burnouts or donuts.....not in the dry at least. Think the rear tires might have 2k left on them.

I'm at 14,300+ miles now, and the tires seem okay. I'm usually stuck in traffic, but whenever I see a twisty, I drive them pretty hard. I'd say a few thousand more, and then they're kaput.

What are the alternatives to buying new runflats when they are flat? Can you buy the same tires all around instead of the 2 different sizes? I'm already going to save for a new set. I was thinking about some 555 Nittos, but heard they were bad in hot weather. It stays nice here in Hawaii, but not as hot as SC where I just came from.

Your tires were probably not initiated. You have to initiate them to get low tire pressure warning

11,000 plus miles and still has alot of tread wear left. Drive very conservatively until this weekend when I made some fast turns and high rev. Damn, it's good to let it rip sometime...

It is the code that BMW uses for the Sport Package.

Oh please no. Nothing spoils the handling of a car worse than cheap crappy tires. Not the potenzas are great, but you'd definately want something stickier than the Nittos.

I got 4300 on them now, and still look brand new. Drive in commute traffic M-F, and have some fast fun drive.

I have 7800 miles on mine and they still look like new. The trick I found is to keep an eye on the tire pressure and adjust it when needed.
