error message from non-ahl on a 335 with ahl??

nope. I did see that one person tried to use non-BMW adaptive head lights (ahl?) and one side went all the way left....

It's not really something that could be easily monitored...so i doubt it. It's not like they're going to monitor the resistance of the servo motor windings! Try it and tell us how it goes.

Just re-read your post OP. I get what you're asking now. I guess you found a set of non-ahl euros that you want to put into your car?

I would like to see the outcome too, because I have not heard of anybody doing this before.
