Soap and water. Usually takes 2-3 washes but thats the safest. I get that all summer. Looks perfect now.

Come right off with a normal wash if you keep the car waxed.

I just cover my front bumper in blue painters tape on road trips. Problem solved!

I've used rain x bug and tar removal spray on all my vehicles. Works like a champ as long as you follow the directions

It wasn't from personal experience; I don't CB my cars. I've seen them on a number of cars, and over time they've all yellowed.

I pull into the self wash car wash, persoak then power rinse and repeat until clean. If you must wipe some stubborn spots use a clean micro fiber and gently rub. The best protection is a good wax application before the trip. The bugs will rinse right off everytime.

Pressure wash, snow foam then wash. This is why it's good to keep the front end really well waxed.

Thanks + all. Luckily a pre trip wax meant the bugs and road tar didn't stick as much as I expected and a good pressure wash/rinse & Maguires "quick detailer" took care of it.

Take towels and dip them into soap water. Place the towels on the bug spots for about 30 minutes. (Keep the towels wet during this time)
Normally they come off easily then.
