I sure hope so.. I need to see it in the flesh. If not, I'm hoping the 991 GT3 and Turbo/S will be there. Who has official info?

Multiple print and online sourse have said it will debut at the North American Auto show, which is Detroit. NO IDEA why when we buy more M cars than any other state.
We get the 4 series convertible. .

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

He was asking about the yellow concept car that debuted earlier at Pebble Beach, not the production model.
I don't know the answer for sure, but I very strongly doubt that BMW will ship that car all the way from Germany where it is now (at the Welt) to the west coast of the United States just before they plan to introduce the production model two months later in Detroit. So, OP, I would not count on it. |

And then it will be attending an event in China. It's already been to the UK and other parts of Europe. The new BMW 4er Convertible will be the premiere in Los Angeles. But overall BMW Group star will be the new MINI ,both will be presented in Tokyo a few days later. Along with something very apt.

What happened to the X4? There was a concept and then it quietly disappeared from all coverage. Is it due for LA to steal some thunder from the Macan? Sounds like it will need the M3 engine to compete with the 3.6l ~400hp offering from Porsche. X4M?

I'm sure we're going to hear about it soon. Macan Turbo looks like it will be badass. I've heard it will weigh around 500-600lbs less than X3 35i, but with 33% more power and torque. X4M will need the M3/M4 engine and a lot of carbon fiber parts to top it! I'd much prefer an X3M though :/
