Rear window, no trim

Hi all, is this a poor design or what? My rear window has no trim around the glass and tree leaves get stuck there very easily.

I prefer that over the rubber seal that eventually fades and looks like crap.

I think it's much cleaner without the rubber seal. The seal on my e90 cracked within a few years. I hated the way it looked when it was all cracked and broken.

Just use a can of compressed air when you're cleaning. Looks and maintains much better without the seal IMO.

Yep....and I'm glad the front windshield doesn't have it either.

+1 for no rubber seals. I didn't notice this design until a couple days after taking delivery of the car. I love it. My e90 had some fading seals as others have mentioned. Very annoying and it ruins the look of the car, to be sure.

Love it love it. Kudos to BMW for fixing that issue once and for all.
