328i Steering wheel fitting PLEASE HELP.

I've purchased the M Sport Alcantara flat bottomed Steering Wheel for my 2012 328i Sport Line 8 speed steptronic with paddle shifters I've been able to find a few posts on removing and fitting similar steering wheels to manual 328i's but nothing that deals with the steptronic and paddles. Can somebody please help me and advise if there is any difference or pitfalls in fitting / removing and re-fitting a steering wheel with steptronic. A quote from BMW at Parramatta (Sydney. Australia) is $231 per hour and may take 2 to 3 hours! They gotta be kidding.
Any help or advise will be appreciated
