Lighting Pack. w/ LED vs. Xenon

I'm having trouble differentiating between the two. I know the headlights are different but does LED's light up the road better. Do they have the swivel capability of the xenons? Please help thanks

Yes they are definitely brighter, so therefore better at lighting up the road. And they retain all the features including swivel of the standard xenons!

No prob... And not really both are bright white! But I would definitely say the full led setup will be noticeably brighter!

Just an FYI on this subject. BMW introduced the 1900 option with the X6/X5 I believe. I know on the X6/X5 boards people who opted out were not happy about their decision when they saw the final product and compared to the one with the package. It's done so you can tell the one with the package easily. Based on your inclination (you may like being flashy) wait till you see both setups.

Entry level luxury car, with just enough performance not to trip over itself. A great winter beater.

Now, back to the actual subject off the thread, LEDs - I agree that it is worth seeing them in person first. You may or may not like them.

I don't think it's available currently, but it will be with the new M3.

I think you can only order them on the 4 series and above! They are not available on the 3 series! But I'm pretty sure you'll be able to get them on any M model (i.e. M3)!

They'll likely be made available on the F30 LCI in 2015/2016 too.

I'd like to see them both lit up. I don't know that it's worth the extra coin for me. If it comes down to spending the cash on something like CCB's or LED lights, I'm going for the CCB's.
