Winter tires 20 inch

Hello,

i just ordered f15 for my father.M package..full options!

Now i need your help..i have x6 and use for winter 19 inches winter tire 255/19

Now there is an option to order 20 inches winter tire Pirelli Scorpion ice+snow..but i am concern about dimension 275 front, and 315 rear.

Is that too wide for snow?

What is your expirience with 20 inches winter tires?

Thsnks!

I've been running 19s with 255 front and 285 rear on my x5. No problem. I don't think 20 mm front and 30 mm more in the rear will to a big difference. I might go for 20" when I order my F15.

im using continental dws and like them. dont get much snow but work much better than the dunlop run flats i had in inclimate weather and not that much worse for spirited driving.

I ran conti DWS 275/315 last winter and they were very good. this winter I have nokian 275 all around for my diesel (wifes ride) and the DWS on my M the 275 are pretty stretched on the rear. I have also taked to a couple guys with the 275/315 for winter and they all seemed to think they were good.

Conti DWS tires are probably fine for occasional light snow but I'd want snow tires if I lived in an area with frequent snow.
