Matuag's E90 335i | Build Thread
Newbie here...new to e90, 1st Thread, AND 1st BMW
 I love seeing everyone's mods and have gotten so many good idea and recommendations from here, that I wanted to pitch in... or at the least get some ideas! Picked up a 2010 335i w M-sport - Space Grey w/ Saddle Brown interior. Got it two weeks ago from Hilson Luxury Motors in Marietta. I had been looking off and on for over a year in Philly and then in Georgia, and the used car dealer market is enough to make a guy want to buy a Schwinn and call it a day  Ryan over at Hilson just seemed like a good guy w clean cars, w/o the pushy upsale bull.First 2 pics are at Hilson. 3rd is Wash at Mikaels Auto Spa (not impressed...need to find better wash). Rest are after wash. Below is a list of what i've done, what I want to do soon, and what i'm considering (no performance mods till i'm out of warranty). Done: *PPI - (Technically post bc i'm crazy) - @ SoloMotosports *Tint - 3m Color Stable 35 - @ The Tint Guys *Phone Mount *Blackberry Music Gateway for Bluetooth Audio ToDo: *Tint - Front - 3m Crystalline 70 - Tint Guys - I can feel the heat coming in *Powdercoat Wheels - Gunmetal/Dark Grey - ~@Metro Wheels *Lux H8 v4 - Still reading up on the flicker before i decide - @Lux *Color Matched Grill w Black slats - @??? *Black/Grey Roundels Overlay - @BimmerZone/Bimmian??? *Sunglasses Holder - @Bimmian - Serious lack of interior storage in this car WishList: *JB4 *Downpipe *Exhaust *Sprint Booster Throttle Remap (not a fan of the electric throttle, coming from an 01 honda) *Blowoff valve/Intercooler/Filters???? |

Thanks all! I know its very stock, this is going to be an ongoing project. Next is likely wheels & grills (want to get OEM painted outside w black slats... hard to find).
After the wash I noticed at least 10 chips in the hood (the downfall of buying a Northern car)  Let me know if any Atlanta folks have a good touchup/paint/detail guy! |
