Anyone excited about driving in the snow?

Im somewhat anticipating the snowstorm we are getting tonight here in the DC area. Where I am, they are calling for 3-6 inches. What I am excited for is getting into an enclosed lot (with no one around) and having some fun in the car. Not spending hours upon end, but just a little fun.

I have AS performance tires, and did not have trouble getting around in the ice/snow earlier this week.

... hoping for a snow day tomorrow

it snowed about 3 inches here on tuesday and i found a large empty lot and played a little bit just to get a feel for what the car would do in snow. With the 205/55/16 blizzaks it was awesome.

My first winter with a Bimmer, coming from an a4 and c4. No all wheel drive for the first time in many years. My 325 seems to handle very well. I was amazed by the great performance of my all season Turanza's. I am very happy.

I was hoping for the gov to close...hahaha, but we just got a 2 hour delay. I was looking forward to driving around in the snow. So far everything is good.....I still have the original performance tires on the car...

We had a wintry mix last night. I was worried about the road conditions and if I'd be able to make it into work. I haven't driven an rwd in along time and I'm coming from an MDX. I just got my my car Wednesday and it still has the stock performance tires on it.

I woke up this morning and walked outside to check the conditions. The lot was covered in an icy/snowy layer. After scrapping off all the ice off my windshields, I decided to test her out around the apt. lot. It wasn't too bad. But when I tried to go up a hill, my warning light came on and I could feel the rear slipping. So I reversed back down. However, I was able to get into work ok. I took the major roads, instead of the usual back roads. I did get the warning light a couple of times but really didn't feel too much slipping. I did keep it under/around 35 though.

Sensible driving is the biggest key! Nice job natalia. It's amazing how many SUVs and 4x4 trucks you see flying around like their vehicle is magic. It makes my day when I see one in the ditch!!
