All season tires were OK in the snow on my front wheel drive Integra way back when. I would therefore imagine that, unless snow on the ground is an infrequent occurence where you live, all season tires will be bad in snow (as opposed to atrocious for the summer tires and great for the winter tires).

I think in Philly you'll be fine. Maybe in Buffalo I'd get snow tires, but where we are (I'm just to your south) all seasons are good enough.

What the hell happened to the Eagles!!

Two very different experiences: i had OOOOOLLLLLD all seasons on an e30 3-er in southern CT and it was fine for most snow that wasn't super deep.

That being said i think the all seasons on the e90 aren't very good... One experience in the snow here in Michigan and i ran out to get Winters (Blizzak REvo 1).

Smartass.

As I type, it's about 15 degrees out. Burrr..

Enjoy your California weather. I'm just jealous. LOL

I'm was born and raised in Chicago. Lived in Cali for 5 years, and moved back because I was home sick. The weather was the best part of living there. Beyond that, I relate better to people in the midwest. We got 7 inches of snow today, my car is in the garage and I'm sipping a hot tottie tonight. Its all about how you deal with the weather.

Hey, at least we don't get 6 months of drizzle and rain. Snow is actualy fun, you can go skying and let your BMW out from time to time without a leash on to have fun - if you could you would see, it is sooo happy that it waggs its tail.

Ah well, I guess you guys can't have it all (unless you live in the Sierras).
