Post MTec Bulbs WTF!!!

i got my friend mtec bulbs for his e92 328xi coupe. it hasen't even been 2 months and the passenger fog bulb blew, and the driver headlight h8 is dimmer then the passenger.

did i just get a defective mtec bulbs or do they really suck?

he installed during warmer weather. could it be b/c the bulbs couldn't adjust to the new upcomming winter chill and just blew?

i got mine from http://www.automotivelightingusa.com/

I think sometimes you just get a bad set of bulbs. My friend used to sell bulbs in bulk and sometimes you just run across a bad pair.

for those of you who have aftermarket bulbs, you think the transition from hot weather to cold will test the bulbs from shattering, blowing out, etc?
