Misfire on startup

I have been getting a misfire on cyl 1. Recently Switched coils and spark plug, will try to switch the injector tomorrow, as a new set is on its way.

I have been getting this misfire for about a week, I would get a misfire on cyl 1 when I was slightly accelerating. So I would clear it, and keep the RPMs down, to prevent it from misfiring.

Today, after inspecting my injectors, I noticed a buildup of some black stuff right by the spark plugs, so cleaned that out. Afterwards, when I started the car, after about 10 seconds in idle, I would get a check engine light, and a misfire on cyl1 , however I noticed something different in inpa.
29c9 Misfiring Cyl 1
Error Type 2: (4097) Exhaust Fume causing damages after start procedure

The car is shaking on idle, and bad while driving. Clearing the code doesnt work, it comes right back. I did take down the flow value and energy consumption for the injectors, and it looks like it wasnt coded the last time I had the injectors replaced.

Also I am getting a high value for cyl 1 for the Rough Running

Tomorrow I will try to switch injector 1 with 2, and see if it goes away, or moves to cyl 2.

Anybody have an idea as to the error code, Exhaust Fume causing damages after start procedure ?

sounds like injector is leaking if it happens on cold starts . just replace it with a new one.

I finally got to switching the Injector from Cylinder 1 to Cylinder 3, and the misfire has now moved to Cylinder 3, so I am bit relieved that it is in fact the injector that needs to be replaced, and not something major. I ordered a set online, and will have to wait at least a few more days, so hopefully the car will be fine with some limited driving.

So, I replaced the Leaky injector, and now the car pulls like a monster.

Not sure if this is a sure fire way of detecting whether your injector is shot or not, but it seems that the rough running test will indicate whether the injector is under performing. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable can chime in to what the values represent, and what they should be expected to be.
