Will BMW take leased car in early?

..If I was to get another bmw? Whats the criteria? I have 6 months left on my lease and would like to get into another before my kms exceed maximum allowed.

Don't know about Canada but BMW USA will not except if:

-You pay the remaining payments early, or

-There is a promotional lease pull ahead for 3/4/5/6 months and you lease another BMW (in this case some combo of the dealer/BMW FS will pick up the remaining payments), or

-Your car gets "stolen"

Hey Tom,

anything is possible. Dealer simply has to sum up what you owe on the balance of lease vs what new vehicle you want to get into and figure out for the fair value of the car. It does take a bit of figuring out and from your point of view, it may be even harder to figure out if dealer is giving you a break or not on both ends (current lease + new car lease)

How's it goin..

To me as long as they don't put negative equity owing into the new leased car I would be happy with it.

Bill,

You should ask the dealer for details of all #. As you know, dealers are infamous in giving you $XXX per month and you can drive away a new vehicle.

I don't know how many months a dealer will accept, but just last week BMW Canada announced a pull ahead program and they let me bring my 2011 in one month early since my new car was ready and waiting.

My neighbour, with 2 yrs remaining on a 36/39 month lease was able to walk away.
It was a 2013, X6M, from Autohaus. Did not even buy another BMW from them.

There has to be something else to that story.

Do you have a link to this announcement? My new 5 hit Halifax a few days ago and should be ready for delivery in the next two weeks. However, my current lease does not end until mid November and I don't have much interest in paying for 2 cars for a month when I barely drive 1! I have a friend whom might buy my current car -- and if he does that, he will just swallow the last lease payment -- but if he doesn't, then I would love to be able to give in my current car before making the last lease payment and pick up the new car earlier!

I thought there has to be more as well, as it sounds too good.
It appears to be sold. It was for resale for weeks at $94k

I just asked about early lease termination in the middle of lease so I can move to M.(it was late Friday so no answer yet), but I see the residual and left payments, I don't see it positive. hope it works.
