Good Mechanics in Sydney?

Hello!

I have an oil leak and need someone to find it. I was hoping you guys could recommend me a place that could do it (not the stealership) that is trustworthy.

Last time I went to Auto Tech in World Square and they pulled out my A/C fuse and told me that my entire A/C system was faulty.

TL;DR need a trustworthy mechanic

Highly recommend Advan Performance @ Auburn.

Peter Mabey in Artarmon, only does BMW, very well regarded.

I used to work up the road from this chap and after i was told 'if you change to catless DP's you will wreck the car' i decided it was time to travel across the bridge and see pete from Advan.

Can't go past Advan Performance.

Their service and knowledge in our platform is second to none in Sydney, and maybe even Australia.

They are the only workshop that I know that have ventured the path of custom setups for our vehicles such as Big intercooler setups, More efficient oil cooling setups, M3 suspension swaps, One of a kind meth tank designs reaching global markets and many more things...

So if you want someone who knows our car inside and out, head down to Advan.

Yup. I visited Advan today and they were extremely knowledgeable. They had a look at my car and told me I'd probably just need an oil service in addition to fixing the sump plug. Very, very good service. Will be returning soon to have the work done.

There is not doubt that the guy that runs Peter Mabey is a "tradionalist" when it comes to no modifications.

Yes, Greg at Peter Mabey tries to stick to the book regarding BMWs, including recommended parts but he is known to stray once you get to know him a little better and you can speak with him as an enthusiast instead of a car lessee. :-)
