E90 taillights

Are the E90 taillights LED like the late model E46? I was following behind one for a while, and I don't think so.

I'm waiting for the 335i to be available to order next year!

they are LED....the brake lights are not though.

Nope. They are fiber optic like the angel eyes. But not LED.

yeah, what diesel said. The "middle strips" are fiber optics.

Nope, as diesel said, it's a regular P21W bulb shining thru plastic fibre optics, just like the angel lights.

Trust me, I have changed the rear brake lights before and have had a good look inside the light assembly.
