If you don't register then it drops functions after 30 days or so.

It then keeps dropping bits until you get fed up.

If your stuck I think I have a few spare copies of office sitting about somewhere - you can have a go with the serial numbers.

Or there is always BitTorrent .........

Word and windows becomes unusable when you browse too much pr0n. It was a safety measure to prevent you damaging the PC.

Might sound ibviouis but are you sure it wasn't a trial version? I.e. Did you pay extra for word and install it ? Lots of PCs and laptops come with a 60 (or however many) day trial of office after which you have to cough up the spondoolics/pocket money for the full version

Carlos, maybe that's what trial versions do? Just cos it cost a grand doesn't mean it should have everything - does it have a blue ray player? Doubt it!
Did you pay the company for office is what it comes down to - if you didn't pay them for it specifically, I doubt they included it for free....

I remember paying about £6k each for some laptops about 10 years ago. And they didn't come with Office.

The prices for useable laptops now are cheaper than Office was alone a few years ago ...

Sounds like you will have to pay for it or download the 'special' version.
