Finally in a 1..

Hey guys, so after being on here trying to decide what car to buy I ended up in an MKVI GTI, nothing against the car, it was fun, quick and handled extremely well. But I missed BMW after leaving my E46 and as great as the GTI is, it was FWD and there was no getting around that unfortunately. So traded it in and got a 2009 128i with 94k (higher mileage but owned by a 66 year old female doctor that lived in Cleveland and commuted to Pittsburg everyday, maintenance program and CPO). Volkswagen screwed me over when I had a flywheel noise at just 41k, BMW has been excellent and now getting plugs, air filter, cabin filter, brakes all around, oil change and brake fluid flush all done at 98k when I hit it. Car has been a blast, all I've done so far is 3500k fogs, powdercoated the rims black, 35% tint all around and the BEST investment was a passport 8500. Oh and took out the cats after the sensors and the muffler and now I'm thinking to get rid of the resonator, the exhaust sounds amazing under load. And if you're looking for an excellent tire that won't kill your bank I bought the Sumitomo HTRZ II and for 75 bucks a piece it grips well and not noisey on the highway and I have 3 track runs on them since I've put them on, can't use it up north though (just moved to Florida). Planning on powdercoating the grills and possibly doing a high gloss roof like I had on my WRX, love the look on white but not sure yet.
The day I bought the car,

How she sits now,

And the exhaust (Those are corvette tips, I was against GM parts at first but they look really clean in person, might go black chrome on them though). Any opinions/ideas much appreciated..

Seeing such clean coupes makes me wish I had got one instead of a hatch.. Hm

Ah well keep up the good work!

Looks great. It's funny you bought your coupe from a 66 year old woman. In the US, they are always either owned by very old women (especially convertibles), or of course the younger enthusiast
