I read somewhere that the stock lights (HID) breathe a little. When I got mine, there was condensation. Dealer said to wait it out and come back if the condensation comes back-never did.
I guess your aftermarkets breathe a little too much |

It snowed yesterday, when I got back to my place, I looked at the headlight and noticed fog / light condensation on the inner low parts of both headlights...
I guessing that this is ok....since it was 28 degrees outside...

I guess it's normal because of the low outside temperatures. |

Did you have to drill any holes for the wiring? If yes, did you seal the holes properly?
I'd take the lights apart and let the moisture get out and do the installation all over again. |

they wont let me upgrade from the factory here in Aus, coz they say it's too expensive, so I bought the HID from some of the modify car place, and yes, they did drill the hole for the wires....do u think BMW will say I void the warrenty because of that???? Thanks guyz....I'm really confused!

"my dealer said it's normal if it's due to temperature change" He must be joking! I asked on a swedish BMW forum and there is none with E90 that have condensation problems! |

hi mate i got the same prob here too
i changed my stock bulb and replaced it with aftermarket m tec HID kit when it rains heavily my headlight will get fogged up pretty bad... i couldnt just take the HID off and put the original light on because when i install the hid, the back cover need to be drilled...my mechanic suggest me to buy the original back cover and put it in place before i claim the warranty..the thing is that my warranty will end pretty soon, and my back cover isnt ready yet (order it from germany since local dealer dont have them in stock)....im so confused now... anyway how did u end up with your prob? is the warranty void? |

anyway, one headlight got fogged for about 4 days. I ended up using a hair dryer thru the side marker bulb. Took a long time but all the fogging was gone.
