Winter Season is Here
well today was the first decent snow fall of the season and i have to say i was pretty impressed with the grip i got out of my e90 with the performance tires still on. my traction light came on a few times but mostly on unplowed side streets while i was going uphill. didnt have any trouble with on and off ramps but obviously i wasnt taking these curves at 80 mph like i normally do
all in all it was a pretty good day for my e90 except for the 3 tickets i got!  |

First snow storm of the season here started as I was leaving work yesterday. Didn't have any problems with the snow, but had to stay WAY back from the stupid salt trucks so I wouldn't get pelted with rock salt.

Today was my first snow drive in my e90. I put winter tires on about 2 weeks ago. My previous car was a FWD 1992 Honda Accord. For all the talk and debate between RWD and FWD in winter driving, there is no question that my e90 drives better in the snow in comparision to my old Honda, FWIW.
DTC/DSC is like magic on the slippery roads. The road right outside my house wasn't plowed or salted. I didn't know what to expect taking a turn at 'normal' speed. A little light blicks on my instrument cluster for a few seconds and all is well. What a wonderful machine!
