What does the "AG" in BMW AG stand for?

I hear people using the phrase "BMW AG," but do not know what that stands for. Is the "AG" an abbreviation for something like Automotive Group?

Not being a Mercedes fan, I don't know. Are all Kompressors supercharged?

It actually translates as "compressor" in English. Mercedes uses the term to designate their supercharged engines/models.

Stand for AKTIEN GESELLSHAFT and is the type of company in Germany. Like Anonimous company, Societè anonime, società per azioni (SPA). Another type in Germany is GMBh.

Like M GmbH, GmbH= Gesellschaft mit beschraenkter Haftung. A sort of Ltd company.

Yes, because Kompressor IS supercharger.

Yep, AG is a type of German company. Kompressor is supercharger... I had a MB Kompressor and they are quite nice.
