Unhappy Psychotherapy Needed

Hi All:

Long time no chat. 7500 kms of driving pleasure now! A door handle that needed machineing b/c of stickiness, steering column contaminates that needed cleaning as I was getting a rubbing sound, radio is not hitting on one station and jumping to another....but other than that...awesome. Great on ice and snow with the Dunlop Sport Winter M3 DSST Run Flats. Got mudflaps installed....look great.

Ok..it's -23Celcius tonight....my current living arrrangements at the moment require outside parking....and as you know(or maybe not) no block heater for E90. Should I worry about cold starts? What is the weight of the oil in this unit from factory? I need counseling.

Hey JVFan,

Nice to hear from you. I doubt that cold starts would be an issue for the e90 but the coldest it gets where I live is about 0 celcuis on a few mornings in middle of july/august, so I really can't advise on that topic with any real authority. On top of that, I park my car in my garage overnight so it stays frost free.

Glad to know about winter runflats working so well. With a lot of critisism being leveled at runflats in general, it's good to read about someone who is happy with them.

So are your other problems fixed now?

Nice chatting with you. Hope to read your posts more often now.
