Is there an alarm on my 328i?
jsut wondering why there is no alarm on my 328i. There is a dummy red button on the rear view mirror that does not light up. Is there someway I can get one? Also, how come my car does not chirp when i lock it? Kinda concerned a $40,000 does not have an alarm, should I be concerned?

alarm is actually an option... haha
the "dummy red button" will only light up (flash) if you have the alarm system installed... other than that, that red button is actually used for adjusting the sensitivity of your auto-dimming mirrors |

I think the light sensor is in the middle of the mirror at the top.
