Sunroof extent problem

I just noticed today that my sunroof no longer stops in the proper 'closed' position. Regardless of whether it's closing from 'popped' or 'open', it comes to a full close flush with the roof, then pops up another half inch. Is there an easy way to reset the controller?

The picture isn't especially clear but hopefully it's obvious enough.

With the ignition on, push the button in and hold it for a couple minutes. That will initiate a reset cycle.

Ahh thank you so much for saying 'ignition!' Right after posting I found the reset button method, but couldn't get it to trigger even with the car on. Didn't occur to me that the engine needed to be turning.

I've just discovered this can be done from INPA as well, connect to the "Roof/Function Center" module, click "Activate" and click "Sliding Roof Initialize" (F1). Doesn't require the engine to be turning, for whatever reason.
