Odd US number plate question

Hi everyone... Just a quick one.

I am wondering what the dimensions of your rear plates are...

I hate the long, narrow UK looking plate, especially if you have a short Plate number.

I want to know the dimensions of something like this, then i could possibly pic up a plate surround

I think it also makes the rear of an e92 look a appear a little phatter just because the plate is not so long (yes i know an M is pictured)

Standard UK plate

The grass is always greener...

It is funny that folks here in the US slap on euro plates and you what to have US plates.

Google "license plate frames". You can buy just about anything; problem will be getting them to the UK.

But dont you all agree that the rear US plate shape benefits the rear of an E92 more than a UK plate.

I think our UK plates look better on the front...but better yet, no plate if you can get away with it in your state.

Honestly I think the euro looks better front and rear. I'm from the US, and am trying not to be biased, but perhaps my subconscious is winning that battle

you're comparing pictures from an e92 328i and an e90 m3....duhhhhh, I wonder which car has a fatter rear because it ACTUALLY does have a wider rear.

I think we should just ban license plates altogether - worldwide to end the debate of which plate format looks best, or not at all!

In fact, as leaders of the automotive kingdom (being that we drive the Ultimate Driving Machine) WE should, in an act of civil disobedience, just remove our plates altogether starting today. They can't arrest all of us!
