I remember when I was about 12 or so, my uncle has this E36 M3. Such a cool car and he had so much fun driving me around in it. I knew then I wanted a BMW when I could drive.
I've had the pleasure of driving my own now for about five years and I have yet to be disappointed. |

When I was in 8th grade my brothers friends E36 Sedan, first time I sat in it saw the subtle red gauges, red interior, red lighting and said to myself I want one of these cars one day since red is my favorite color.

8th grade my dad came home with a burgundy x5. He spent 7k on a body kit. It was one of the first cars I drove, I knew I wanted my own.

Seen a bunch of older 3/5 series and wasn't really hooked on them, then...
I saw a maybe 2006 760Li driven to school by some guy in a few grades higher; he also had a Porsche and Mini, but it was always the all-black exterior/interior sleek look of the 7-series that captured my attention. Something about the styling, roundel, colour made it seem much cooler than Mercedes. Never got to sit in that particular one though. The new ones don't look as good anymore. When it came to choosing a car for myself, I looked around on different forums/dealerships, but ended up here. |

1985 E28 528i. My Dad picked it up used from his friend, who was going through some financial problems (failing business, pending divorce, kid going to college). It was well-cared for and as a 2 year old car, it had 8,700 miles on it, since his friend drove the van that belonged to the restaurant most of the time.
It was also the first car I learned to drive in. At age 10, I knew how to drive a stick shift because of that car, and because of my Dad's saint-level patience. |

My aunt had a 2002 740iL, and while I didn't think anything of it the first time I saw it, after the first time I drove it is what got me hooked. Nothing drives like a BMW.

My friend's brother's E36 M3, I vividly remember thinking how incredible it would be to have a car like that.

I remember I was a big Chevy Chase fan back in the late 80's and early 90's. Loved his films. Well, I rented "Nothing But Trouble" and remember seeing his kick ass beemer in the movie, an 83 733i. Suffice it to say I never sat in it, but I was in lust the moment I saw it. These days, I catch myself watching the film just to look at that beemer!

E46 M3 in Need For Speed Most Wanted on the 1st Xbox. That game made me love cars. I bought a G35 coupe a couple years after. On 495 North, asshole in this "BMW" kept tailgaiting me. I mashed on it because I thought I was hot shit at the time (21 with an Infiniti). Turned out to be an E46 M3... needless to say he spanked my ass. I just recall a blur of red with black wheels then tail lights. Lmao. That sealed the deal with the Ultimate Driving Machine for me.

When i was about 8 years old, my aunt had a relative who just bought the all new e46 coupe probably 2000 330. It was supper sexy and i just knew i had to own a BMW one day. She drove us around and it was love at first sight. When i turn 16, i want a BMW but my mom shut me down. So i worked my ass off thur out high school. Didn't get to hang out with my fiends on the weekend cause my dream car was more important But, did party as much as i can. So when i graduated HS i went down to the dealership paid full in cash for a slightly used 08 e90 328 w/16k miles. The rest is history. My dream car that i can see myself driving in the future is a GTR.
Here a picture to go with the story of my car: |
