Anyone use this 180 degree thermostsat?
Found this thermostat and actually talked to a few people using this thermostat and they love it. The one thing they all had in common and now me is they had Mocal but switched because the Male AN fittings damage easy and you get a bit of seepage. I am in the process of writing a DIY on making SS lines and when I hooked my system together I got a bit of seepage.....then it went a way then it came back. I thought it was just not tight enough, then realized only the fitting at the thermostat are the ones seeping, did a bit of searching and found out this is a issue with mocal units when putting fittings on and off (I understand that AN fittings are prone to this, but this is not the case here). I also hate the bracket on the mocal thermostat. The mocal does regulate temperature good though.
I found this thermostat and I love the design of it and it seems to flow great. I would like to know who's 335i has 600Hp on the review though. http://www.improvedracing.com/oil-th...tat-p-212.html

Have it, love it, and they are making a 212*F one for the le mans guys. Email them and ask to go on their list for the 212*f No time line yet. Look for my build thread i have. I'm on my phone right now so i can't link it

Sweet! What are the odds lol! I guess you like like it? I like that the fittings are replaceable if they wear out. Does it flow better? I took the 90 degree bends to the thermostat out and made them straight.

Search. "3000gt mr build" i have some good info in there. I promise you won't find a better flowing design. It's weird how it works but it works phenomenal. The fittings are replaceable with different sizes to choose from. Only issue i had was i had to much tension on the fittings through the lines and it would cause them to become loose. I repositioned the lines with some clamps to ease the tension and its been fine since. Takes no longer to warm up. If you have any questions their customer service is awesome. Had email convos Sunday night close to midnight and got instant responses. I wanted to ask him to advertise for the german cars and not just American v8's and vetts like it's geared toward. All the vetts that race in the le-mans use this thermostat.

Here is where mine slightly leaks....almost has to be the thermostat....all NEW fittings and hoses. It is more of a seep than a leak, but I still hate it.
