Window Trim Warranty Question

Hi everyone,

Was looking to get Opticoat done on my 3 month old 335is. Noticed there are some scratches on the top of my door trim, most likely from the dealer buffing the car since I haven't done anything of the sort. Work out of town a lot and haven't really been home.

1. Is this type of thing covered under warranty? It's a visible scratch on the top of the trim on both sides. I assume itll just get worse with weather damage etc. Would I have any issues getting this item repaired?

My dealer mentioned getting that fixed before the opticoat since it makes more sense to do that.

Any thoughts are welcome.
