Not in Canada but rwd cars is all I had. With proper winter setup you will be fine. Plus z has LSD. I had my G37 rwd driven through blizzards, parking in the snow and never had a problem getting out or stuck. Passed a lot of x5s stuck though lol.

No. Upgrade, not downgrade.

The 370z is shit compared to a 335i!!! I rode in a buddies 370z and wow it felt so slow compared to a 335i with a jb4! Also your car is a XI so it'll be fun driving from light to light with the traction from AWD.

If you are going to keep your car stock, then the 370z would be a fair trade.
stock for stock the 370 performs better then a 335 e90. lateral G, Braking, acceleration. If your talking modded then yeah a tuned 335 is much faster then a 370z. you could turbocharge the 370 also. But for bang for buck mods, 335 wins. i say keep 335. But its not a bad trade if you do! 370z starts under 30G now if you wanna buy new. |

ya Ill probably stick to the 335 mainly because driving anything but an awd car in a Canadian winter is suicide My neighbour had that car and it seemed to turn heads more than my e90...but on the plus side the e90 is probably alot more fun to drive

Test drive one and tell us what you think. Most of the members here will tell you to stick with the 335xi. If you are looking for a head turner then stock 335 usually won't turn many heads since it doesn't stand out much compared to other 3 series cars. You can always modify your car to stand out and reflect your own style or performance you desire.

i had a 350 before my 335
nothing beats the 50/50 weight distribution in the bmw, the 350 and 370 are great cars but dangerous in snow because the back of the car is a featherweight, also the fit and finish look great but quality is good. good luck |

Why not? For what some people pay for 335i/335IS you could get a used GT-R. And there's rumors the '15 Nismo GT-R runs 2 seconds 0-60!!

There are a lot of people who buy a bmw because they have to have a bmw. For the portion of world with any self respect though the choice has more to do with how they like the car and how it fits their needs than the fancy badge on the front.

weight distribution
correct the weight distribution is similiar but the rear end kicks out so easily and you have no warning when it will kick out which is a function of the differential that is quite different as compared to a bmw.
Good luck with your decision.. |
