Is this a Good Deal!? Looking to purchase 09 335i
Hey guys im looking to purchase a newer bmw. i currently own a 07 335i with no warranty and has close to 80k miles.
The car im looking at is a 2009 BMW 335i with 23k miles and has CPO till June 2015.He is asking $26,000 USD for the car. The car is in perfect condition has sports package and premium package. Let me know what your thoughts are! Thanks! |

That sounds about right from a private party. I wouldn't say it's good or bad.
If you're sure it's in perfect condition, you should be saving money vs. going to a dealer. |

I think thats good price if the car has been well taken care of and is in great condition. A car with 20k miles on it that is well taken care of is like a new car in my opinion...

Seems reasonable. Have you checked Edmunds True Market Value? Not sure how much being in HI affects car values. Maybe you could get the seller down a couple of grand. Good luck.

Looks like a steal to me but I'm sure you can shimmy him down a couple bills more.

That sounds like a good deal to me, then. Earlier this month I bought my '10 E90 loaded with 17k miles for $28.5k, but there are a million of them on the market here in California.

Make sure of this tidbit if you're purchasing a CPO'd car:
"The Certified Pre-Owned BMW Protection Plan is fully transferable from the original Certified Pre-Owned BMW purchaser or lessee to subsequent owner(s) or lessee(s)." http://www.bmwusa.com/Standard/Conte...nty/Terms.aspx It may be cheap, but it looks like you're gunning for the warranty. If he's the original owner or purchased the car cpo'd then you're good, if not walk away. |

In June, I paid 24.9 for the same car with 50K. CPO until Nov 2015.
Mine was a sport, nav, etc.
