Failed Fuel Injectors Calgary No Warranty

Hey guys haven't posted here in a while but I drive an 08 335xi and noticed the car shaking violently and the exhaust sounding somewhat sputtery one day when I was driving it. I took it in to the dealership to figure out what was wrong and my S.A. just got back to me saying that they scanned the car and found a whole punch of misfire codes and are blaming it on the fuel injectors.

I'm currently out of warranty and I was quoted almost 2,000 for replacing all of the injectors, however as I'm a full time student and volunteer during most of my free time I don't have that much cash to cough up for the injectors. Anyone know anyway to get the injectors replaced for cheaper or any good independent shops in the area I could take the car too?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you

If you've used INPA before, you can try to buy the injectors yourself and replace and code them to your car. There are tutorials on the forum (or just google) for how to do it yourself with videos (I've never done it myself). Here is one tutorial:

Other than that hopefully there are some independent shops that someone can direct you to. Good luck!

Try contacting Alpine Autowerks or Dale's Auto in town to see what they quote you at, great independant mechanics with good reputations.

Oh man I'm not too good at DIY's so I'm probably not going to end up going down that road :/

I think it was 170 I'm not really sure I'll call my S.A. later today and figure it out, why?

Call Vtek Autoworks. They're likely booking 3 or more weeks in advance but know these cars as well as anyone and are reasonably priced.
