Sunroof HELP!

Had my e90 for about a year and since the day i bought it i realized the sunroof did not work. It does tilt up and down but it wont open, ive tried the reset thing holding it for 30 secs and that doesnt work. This is really frustrating after i paid a lot of money for the car.
Someone please help with another solution.
