Morr Alloys - still in business?

My apologies in advance for sounding like a whiny bitch.

I wasn't sure where to post this, but seeing as I'm more than a little disappointed in their customer service perhaps this is the proper section.

In a nutshell, on 9/24, I notified Morr that my 162 rep order was screwed up. Specifically, I received three 19x8.0's and one 19x9.5.

Carlos was very responsive to PMs on 9/24 and let me know that I had received the last 19 x 9.5 wheel in stock. Lucky me, especially since that wheel came with a big fat chip on it.

At that time, he indicated that he needed to check his inventory and expected a new batch in later "this week" (week of 9/24) or "early next week" (week of 10/1).

Well "this" week has come and gone and "early next week" is upon us and despite PMs and emails sent to their attention on Thursday and Friday of last week, I have no idea if and when I'm going to receive the replacement wheel.

Zero apologies and price concessions later, I'm hoping for an update ASAP.

wow....how could they ship the wrong sizes......that's a huge screw up on their part.

but I understand that shipping the boxes not properly packaged can damage the wheels in transit.......

People do sometimes go on vacation, get sick, have a family emergency, ... just because the internet works this quick, it's not reasonable to expect people to. I spoke with Carlos just last week, and he was as helpful as always.

I remember when fax machines started to come into play and people were pissed that they didnt get faxes back quick enough. That was through telephone lines and it took about 1 minute per page to send. Now it takes about 1 minute to send 20 pages and people still get miffed when they dont get an email back in response.

Its a tough world we live in now.

I've done business with carlos twice and hes always taken care of me. But I do understand the OP's frustration.I would not be a happy camper either.no one here would.

Does anyone have a rear Morr 162 for sale? I'm willing to pay top dollar since I have no idea when the manufacturer is going to find it in his heart to send me a new one.

I think it's pretty amazing that we got our standard finish about what....6-7 weeks ago? You guys are pretty refined about the whole thing. I'm pretty sure he said at one point the alternate finished wheels would ship one week after ours.
