Famous center locking button is going away on the F15?

Was at a BMW event recently talking to some engineers and we were discussing the changes on the F15. One of the guys told me the center locking button, which has been a common theme in all BMW models for years, will be going away with this new model. They will be moving the lock buttons to the doors which is more in line with what other manufacturers do.

Extremely minor but thought is was worth sharing.
