Electrical problem

Hi all,

I'm not really good with electrical stuff, which is why I'm posting this here. My headlight (low beam) keeps going out. The bulb is fine and the problem seems to be the connector shown in the picture. When the red cable is plugged in and I turn on the headlight, it doesn't work. But when I remove it, while the headlight is still in the ON position, and put I it back in it works. But the next time I turn the headlight on I have the same problem. Any suggestions on an easy fix would be great.

Thanks for taking the time to read this and your help!

How is the fit? Does it feel loose? Have you tried taking a pick and bending the tabs in the female connection down to provide for a tighter fit when inserting the male end?
