Shere's 325i e92 - Page 2 rear bumper and steering
After weeks on this forum I have finally officially joined the club!
Yesterday purchased myself a Sparkling Graphite e92 325i SE, automatic, 2007. Pics will follow at some point, already in mod mode. Am looking for more subtle mods, pre painted m3 style lip spoiler will be ordered in the next day or so from Taiwan. Am weighing up swapping the front bumper for an M Sport (will that be lots of hassle? Assume need to change fogs, grill etc etc?) or adding an aero lip to the front. Been researching the forum, SSDD painted aero will cost £275, can get an OEM M Sport from eBay for £100 and get it sprayed (anyone any ideas how much that would cost?!) Other than that no major mods planned, maybe do something to the rear exhaust, maybe do the paddle shift mod. Lastly....am in West London, around Hillingdon, anyone know any BMW specialists who I can go to for servicing, maybe even the paint job and fitting of some mods? They're the ones I was planning on using, been in touch to see if he can do my colour, awaiting his response (maybe he has a day off on Sundays!)
That is defo the first mod, cheap as chips and so effective! |

Does anyone have any contact details for him? All a bit cryptic!?
Was thinking of using P&R BMW in Hayes or Birds in Iver for my servicing |

Took my new motor out for a spin today and took some snaps, thought I'd share some with you.
No changes made yet, rear lip spoiler from BC.Moto on ebay is on its way from Taiwan, painted front aero lip being prepped by SSDD (ordered via P 5UML, cheers buddy!) |

Welcome and enjoy. Personally my favorite exterior color for it's really two or three colors, depending on the light. More bang for the buck if you ask me.
Thanks too for the first pic you posted. I can honestly say I don't think I've ever seen my car from that angle.

Couple of updates:
Three weeks my BC.Moto spoiler arrived from Taiwan, lovely colour match, easy install. Then last weekend I installed an SSDD Motorsport front Aero lip spoiler, sourced via forum member P 5UML (cheers Sumil!). The results of both installs are below, nice little improvements on the SE look IMO, the Aero lip especially gives the front a meaner look! |

Looking good!
How much did you pay for the aero lip? Did you install it yourself? |

Cheers guys. Install was easy, undid 5 or 6 bolts from under the existing bumper, pushed on the lip, and screwed the bolts back in. 20 minute job! I need to get myself some 3m double sided tape to get the top of the aero lip to sit a bit snugger.
P 5UML sorted a good deal, as part of a group buy he was arranging, get in touch with him. The SSDD list price is £280 + delivery costs (painted). Oh and yes, I got it prepainted, am happy with the colour match of both this and the BC.Moto spoiler. |
