How to change spark plugs on e90 3litre

what plug gives the best performance and what mileage is best to change them, and how do you remove the coils over the spark plugs? do you just pull them off. I have tried this but they dont seem to shift and I am concerned I might break the coil if I use too much force, Help

yeah but what if you want to put those awesome triple fire plugs from TV in????

be sure to remember to gap them properly!

It'd stick with OEM. Unlike other manufacturers, the BMW I6 is tuned almost to the max from the factory. But if your butt-dyno think's it's worth it..go for it.

When I had my 325i at the independent BMW garage having my snow tires put on, the mechanic mentioned that the rear three plugs will be quite hard to reach. He also claimed that, although they are supposed to last 100,000 miles, people often begin to have rough cold starts at 80,000-ish...

Of course, *most* cars are on their second or third owner by then, so most of us probably shouldn't lose any sleep over it!

Change them if you want, but you wont feel any difference, and no there is no power gains to be had by changing plugs.

The English 325i has virtually the same power and torque output as the US 325i, but accelerates slightly quicker - with a 2.5L engine. Sharing the same bore and stroke as the Canadian 323i, the English engine also uses less fuel than the Canadian engine, and puts out its maximum hp 750rpm higher, at 6500, and maximum torque 750rpm lower - a nice broad powerband. Well, I think it's at least worth asking where that other 44hp went.

Unless there's a typo - but BMW England told me not to worry about it - it sounds like the 323 and 325 engines were designed to be less than optimal - for marketing purposes.
