Replacing rear quarter panel
I got some pretty serious damage on my passenger side rear quarter panel, where there aren't just dents, there are also breaks. It seems like I would need to get the rear quarter panel replaced like in this video:
The quarter panel is actually welded in which seems much more labor intensive. I looked up the part and it is only around $500. http://www.getbmwparts.com/parts/200...iagram=1942570 To repair, the quarter panel would need to be replaced, repainted, and blended. I am wondering if anybody has an idea of how much this job would cost. Thanks. |

Get quotes from a body shop.

About 20 hours.
I am parting out an 09 328i coupe and have both left and right quarter panels. Let me know. My friend owns a body shop. He has 2 guys that replace quarter panels and frame rails on daily basis. He normally charges about $1500-$2000 per quarter panel. Which includes replacement and paint job. Make sure you get several quotes. Some shops may charge you over $3k per quarter panel. |

To replace my quarter panel and door cost my insurance 9.5k. This was at a certified BMW collision center.
