help with check engine code

Hi guys I was pulling out of my garage last night when i got the dreaded half engine yellow light, when I used the stalk to check the code it came up with cc-id 29 I also had cc-id 97 previously. I know that 29 is a dme fault and that 97 is an airbag fault. My main question is, I am currently under extended warranty and when I restarted the vehicle the light was no longer on. Will the DME log the code? I would like to take my car to the dealership so they can resolve this but do not want to waste my time if they cannot see the error code.

Once the code comes up, unless it is cleared isn't it stored so when you take your key in it will come up?

I did google the code however that doesn't answer my question about the dme logging it so I can get my car fixed through CPO

The only reason I haven't done a tune is due to my extended warranty although I am thinking of doing that open tablet flash

it will definitely be stored in the dme, dont take your chances and go get it taken care of if you are under warranty
