Exclamation Point Warning?

Does anyone know what this is? It only comes on when I put the car in "start"... Once I physically start the car, the exclamation point disappears.

I don't have either... I have an 07 335i but, this came on after coding some modules on my car with Wedge last night. We coded a few things with the Key Fobb and a few other things... should I just reset back and go code by code?

use the lever in the middle of the blinker stalk thing to cycle through until you see "Check Control." Then press the button on the end of the stalk. It'll tell you what's wrong.

To add to that.... Once u find the issue in the check control.... Just press and hold the BC button on the stalk for about 3-5 seconds and it will give u a CC ID number for that issue. Cross reference that CC ID Number with this: http://www.e90post.com/forums/attach...4&d=1372806132

I have the car with ramps... I believe this is being caused from the digital speedometer code not working with my production date. I am not really sure how to disable it and I'm awaiting Wedge's help.

Someone else mentioned the car with ramps was caused by coding that in with an outdated version of SP Daten. I have the updated version of SP Daten but still got this error code. I'm going to try and remove later and pray this fixes it.

I had TMPS yesterday before I coded everything, ran my tune and everything was fine. Coded last night, turned on this morning and TMPS was on and so was the car with ramps.

I reset TMPS and it is working fine now... The car with ramps is still on...

Edit: Thank you so much Fazman! I got a CC ID 60 which a Speedometer Error (I was right, this module is causing the issue for me).. I will try changing it later unless someone can help me with NCS Expert?

That's good to know. I've never done that before. If the fix isn't obvious -- washer fluid low, light bulb out, etc -- I just called/visited the BMW dealer. TY for sharing. I hope that post to which you refer is a sticky; if it isn't, I'll likely never find it again when I actually need it. LOL (Of course, I'll bookmark it if it isn't a sticky.)

Ramps? I usually take the ramps into the kitchen rather than leave them in the car. I think a car that has ramps has too much sunlight and dirt in it and has nothing at all to do with coding. BTW, how do you keep the car from smelling like garlic?

Yes, it was. I do know your "ramps" aren't the veggie I pictured, but I don't know what you actually meant by saying the car "has ramps." I figured you didn't mean you have the car sitting on a ramp.

I believe that means it's time for servicing.

FWIW, I always thought of that as a lift, not a ramp. Thus my confusion.

I did as well until someone else said ramp on here earlier, figured they had more knowledge then me. Stop being such a cut throat....

It can be for service but, in my case I have a CC ID 60 which is a speedometer malfunction (digital speedometer isn't working)... I'm hoping when I make this deactivated later or if anyone can help me both exclamation and car with lift/ramps go away... then my car will be "perfect"

i'd love to see the expression of the SA if you had dropped your car off and if they would try to charge to diagnose
