So what now? suggestions on my 07 e90

Sooo got a 2007 335i e90 with sport package and 59k miles a few months ago and wondering what else i should do after i finish this mountain of mods or what maintenance should i brace for/do. So far here's what's done/waiting for a free Saturday:

New tires (switched to the non run flat version of our tires)
Intake manifold cleaned
oil filter housing gasket replaced
oil changed
BMS catch can
JB4 g4
VSRF 7" FMIC
VSRF downpipes
aFe Stage 2 Intake System
Lux angel eyes
new front bumper (old one was damaged)

LSD seems out of the budget for me and don't want to bother with meth since its my daily driver as well, but looking for suggestions (interior/exterior/engine/maintence/etc)

Garage List
Change out the water pump and thermostat now if it hasn't already been done. See DIY section.

Charge Pipe or Blow Off Valve combination
Coilovers
Drilled Slotted Rotors
Ceramic Brake Pads
Stainless Steel Lines
Interior LEDs
License Plate LEDs
Not sure if your car is 6AT or 6MT. If it is Alpina Transmission Flash.

Don't forget to install the DPFix if your going kittyless. While the JB4 does auto clear... The DPFix will allow u to reach readiness when u need it every couple of years.

I hope your going with the MPSS tires??
You should get coding on your list to enable features?
When was the car battery replaced+registered to the car?

WHAT you haven't put the rear fog light lego mod on your list!!! hehehe just kidding its something i do for the locals here in NJ

would you say coilovers make the ride worse or better than the sports package? also any suggestions on brand wise for brakes? Alpina Transmission Flash sounds nice though, wonder if we got a dealer down in houston

I'm on my mobile so I couldn't see your location... TEXAS... Hell yeah bro, FMIC 1st for sure. 100+ degree dry heat summer days. 3-4 hour drives to major cities in that state. You definitely want as much cool air pumping through that engine as possible.

Coilovers depending on brand should be a night and day difference compared to the sport package. On my G coupe with sport package after I put coils on the car was a completely differenf beast. Much more stable at higher speeds in and out of corners. Way less body roll and just an overall improvement on the ride quality. I had BC BR coils and that's exactly what I plan on going with for my e92.

Check out the R1 thread. He just PMd me some incredible prices on the items I listed. A little less for the total upgrade that I recommended than what the dealer would charge for a full OEM brake job. If you work on your own car like I do... it's a steal. Upgrading to a TRUE BBK for this car is crazy expensive. Like 7K new front and rear. At least 3K used. That's your LSD plus installation. Lol

Good luck with your decision bro. But my vote is definitely for FMIC. VSRF 7inch is like 500 bucks and everyone says it's as good as those that costs double its price.

Lmao. I did this long rant thinking you were someone else. Sorry bro. Ignore the FMIC thing. I was answering another thread.

first post,

I am looking at a 2008, 335i with 59,000 on it. Two Owners, First owner had BMW buy it back due to failing California Emissions. Is this something I should consider or move on in the purchase of the vehicle?

I am getting our of an e53 2001 that was totaled from a flying piece of scrap metal on the freeway.

get it checked out at an good bmw indie mechanic before you buy it, 59k miles is like right when oil seal needs to be replaced and also need to clean the intakes as well(walnut blasting), plan to spend about 500+ once ya get it to get it just to get it in good shape.

I am having my BMW indy check it out now.

It is in really good cosmetic condition. A few small scratches that can be fixed, bot no body damage and the interior is perfect. Comparing it to other 335 and 550 that I have been looking at lately.

I am a heavy DIY guy. Having the x5 for 8 years I did about everything on the vehicle unless I felt uncomfortable and gave it to my guy.

yeah walnut blasting isn't really all that good for DIY, however since your in dallas there is a guy there that does it for like 200$ the oil seal though can be done at same time as the walnut blasting though and will usually only cost ya like 100$ if that to have em do it with the walnut blasting since the both follow almost exactly the same steps.

Is this a MT or AT?

If MT...

BMS Clutch Stop
BMW Performance Shift knob

Also...

Blacklines
Tint (if you don't already have it)
