Opti-Coat 2.0 applied on Alpine White
Just had my car Opti-Coated yesterday by a local detailer and took some pics with my phone. Wanted to share what the coating looks like on alpine white under different lighting conditions. The coating really looks awesome at dusk.
Overall, I'm very impressed with the way the coating makes the car look. Definitely has the just polished and waxed look, which is awesome! I do miss the slippery wax surface feel, but I'm happy I don't have to wax my car for a long time.

looks great! got mine done a few weeks ago.
Is it ok to use instant detailers for additional shine, or is it not recommended to put any additional products on top?

Its ok - wont hurt anything but any additional detailer or wax you put on top of the opticoat won't last.

Thanks Aston! Yup, like Mike says, instant detailers and wax don't really cling on to the Opti-Coat very well. But it's very important to have instant detailer spray on hand as you always want lubrication when wiping off anything from the paint, even if it's Opti-coated ( which can still scratch).

Looks great! I think these coatings are the way, so I got one today. The most important part is the prep detail to make sure the coating adheres well. Sure turned my BSM finish around!
