Metallic paint match & front spoiler?
So I was thinking about getting the M-tech Aero front spoiler. Coincidentally, I was also in a body shop asking them how much it would cost to paint an unfinished hood. The guy said $1000 basically because he has to blend the hood into the fenders (it's titanium silver.)
That got me thinking, does that mean if I get the spoiler pre-painted, is it going to look weird because it won't blend into the bumper? Is there a picture of not-blended metallic paint somewhere I can look at to see what that would look like? |

I went to my local paint store, gave them the color code of my car (BMW 353 for titanium silver), they blended it for me and a co-worker painted the lip for me. It only cost me 2 packs of cigarettes...
It came out pretty good and the paint matches the body color. $1000 to paint a hood... seems very high to me!

Not sure if Home Depot would do it... I'd try some place like sherwin Williams. |

It's an eBay lip. Fitment is not perfect, it looks great from 20ft but if you get closer, you can see it's not perfect. I paid $75 for it.
