So my last car had a giac tune and logic 7 (I guess I thought logic 7 would be standard in my car) and I loved them both.

But money is tight as of late and I miss them both. So my car feels too slow and the speakers suck. I'm terrible at making decisions so I thought I might ask you guys what your next move would be. Upgrade the sound or the performance?

Alpine speakers won't fit .

Alpine speakers won't fit .
And probably won't do you that much good without a amp or amp/processor.
This forum has both Audio and Modification sub boards.

Depending on which audio system you have it will suck or be mediocre at best.

I actually did quite a bit of searching/research on it today; the alpine system seems to be the best option...

and I don't really know which system I have. as I said, I though logic 7 would be standard which is why I didn't go for the hk system.. Turns out whatever I got is the worst stereo system known to man.

I'm really just trying to do something cheap and easy because I'd rather spend money on performance upgrades

JB4 for the easy win! I'm pretty sure you use the gas pedal more than you use the radio.

A faster car can be a safety feature too, to get you out of dangerous slow moving situations. The radio has no safety benefit.

The JB4 can diag your car, the radio can't help you at all.

I'd go with the JB4 first. It'll feel like a new car. If you take long roadtrips for work every day, then I could possibly see the urgent need for the stereo system. But I'd go with the tune first.

Lol, that is evident seeing that you have purchased the same car 4 times . BSW is a cheap but decent upgrade.

i've had a tuned n54 and it definitely does feel like a new car... i'm just wondering if i listen to a lot of music on shitty speakers whilst driving on sick roads or race scumbags in their evo Xs more often...

i do have the "I have to be better than everyone" complex, too... which doesn't make it any easier

You can't go wrong either way. It all comes down to whether you value power or audio more..

You already have a 300hp car .

You already have a 300hp car .
It sounds like you value mad power more by the fact you don't want to spend to much on Audio.
You need to spend about 1500 minimum on Audio and it will exceed the level of the L7 .

Go for the JB4 or COBB tune but the BSW audio upgrade ain't a bad option as redline mentioned if you aren't planning to go all out with an upgraded amp. I have it and am pretty satisfied with its quality.
