2-3 times a week maybe, getting on the highway. But I shift at 4-4500 with some regularity

Not sure if serious orrrrrr.....

Just 1st gear I wind out sparingly to 5500. No point going to redline since torque tapers way off. 2nd gear with my muffler delete, 4000rpm has such a nice tone.

I can't help myself when I know I'm in a good acoustic area or coming up on a nice little turn.

redlining in any gear above first will be speeding you rebel lol

with catless dp + PE exhaust, letting off throttle completely at 4500-5000RPM can scare people!

i do it whenever my kids are in the car and they request it. i dont try to go over the set speed limit, i just hold gear in 1st and 2nd longer.

even though its 'just' a 328i, the sound and thrust make them feel like they are in a real race car.

Usually I'll wind it out to about 5k in 2nd when getting onto the highway or a faster road but I try to shift before 3500 in first. There's so much torque in a 335i there's really no need to downshift or wind out 1st and 2nd to accelerate quickly.

I do it pretty often, it's way too tempting. Especially when the window is down, the exhaust just wakes up.

I would say on a daily basis, I have a 60 mile round trip commute. With the JB4, acceleration above 50MPH is effortless and addicting!

I stopped doing it. Supposedly it's considered racing.

Am I suppose to realize that a S5 Audi was next to me?!
